The Cyprus Land Registry has announced that from 11 December 2020 it will suspend the acceptance of any new applications relating to the transfer of property until 4 January 2021. This is due to the slowdown in customer service caused by the pandemic and the upcoming holidays. It is reported that all applications submitted by December 11 will be processed by December 31, writes the Cyprus Mail.

The statement says that the district offices of the Land Registry will be open to discuss exceptional cases, which can be addressed if necessary. Representatives of the department called on the public, especially banks and other large organizations, to show understanding.
